'Doggs host Salem

The Winder-Barrow High School Bulldoggs will look to earn some late-season momentum when they host the Salem Seminoles tonight at 7:30.

Coach Ben Corley's team has three games remaining on the 2008 schedule and hopes to begin building for the future. Salem meanwhile is 4-3 overall and hopes to keep its playoff chances alive with a win in Winder.

The Apalachee High School Wildcats will travel to Conyers tonight for a key Region 8-AAAA contest against the Heritage Patriots. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Coach Shane Davis' Wildcats need a win after last week's close 17-12 setback against Loganville. See full coverage of the game in next week's premier issue of The Barrow Journal.
