Stabbing death Barrow’s third of 2010

For the third time this year, the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death by stabbing.

On the evening of March 12, a tip led authorities to Booth Road near Hwy. 330 in Statham. During a search of the area, law enforcement and emergency services personnel discovered a deceased male victim in a drainage ditch. The victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of kin, appeared to have died as a result of foul play.
