A Colbert man has been arrested in connection with the murder of an unidentified male discovered by emergency personnel late Friday night.A tip led authorities to Booth Road in Statham near Hwy. 330 where they discovered the victim in a drainage ditch. The victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of kin, appeared to have died as a result of foul play.
At 10:43 a.m. Saturday morning, Adalberto Sanchez, 53, was arrested in connection with the crime. Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies located Sanchez in an apartment complex in Bogart and arrested him without incident.
