Is the cold weather keeping people too close for comfort? Or is it the pressure of the worsening economy? Or maybe the stress of the holiday season?
In the past week, nine men have been arrested in Barrow County and its municipalities for violating Georgia’s Family Violence Act, according to information from the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office. Six were arrested by sheriff’s deputies, two were arrested by Winder police and one was arrested by Statham police.
