Jackie Johnson, 56, of Winder, died Saturday, November 22, 2008.
Born in Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Loyd and Pauline Pursley Culver. She had resided in Barrow County for most of her life and was a nursing assistant at Winder Health Care and Rehab. She was a member of the Hoschton Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her husband, Larrell Johnson; a son, Dwayne Johnson; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Larry Pourron, Amanda and Stan Martin, all of Winder; six grandchildren; brother, Dave Culver, Winder; sisters, Margaret Sweat, Winder, Rose Culver and Mary Culber, both of Arcade, Hazel Puckett, Auburn, and Grace Durham, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Gaddis officiating. Burial will be in Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, November 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
