Marvin Lamar Sutton, 65, of Talmo, died Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following an extended illness.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Charles and Dollie Sutton. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was retired from Boeing Defense Systems.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Jackie Sutton, Talmo; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Shannon Wingo; granddaughters, Katlyn and Gracie Wingo, all of Jefferson; sister-in-law, Betty Henderson, Talmo; special nephew, Chuck Henderson, Chicago, Ill.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil and Gene Austin, German Town, Ohio, Barbara and Lendon Cain, Cumming, Alene Hendrix, Winder; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Sandra Sutton, Suwanee.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 8, at Northside Baptist Church with the Revs. Cecil Thomas and Elmer Maddox officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, was in charge of arrangements.
