The regular December meetings of the Winder City Council have been postponed one week due to the Dec. 3 runoff election. The polling place is the Winder Community Center near where the council has its meetings. Voting will be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
However, the council will have brief meetings at 6 p.m. Dec. 2-3 to take care of business that can't wait another week. Monday's meeting will be a called executive session to discuss personnel. It will be on the second floor of city hall on East Midland Avenue.
Tuesday's meeting will be to vote on several annexations, a conditional use permit, and a memorandum of understanding with the city of Auburn about a water reservoir partnership. That meeting will be held at the community center but in a room separate from the polling area.
The council’s rescheduled work session and voting session will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, and at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10.
