The Winder Police Department is asking for help identifying two suspects in a Tuesday afternoon pawn shop robbery.
The two black males entered the Pawn Mart located at 22 South Broad Street at approximately 3:10 p.m., drew handguns on the three employees working in the store and took an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash. No one was injured in the armed robbery.
The suspects are both described as tall black males, over six feet in height. One of the suspects was clean shaven and wore a blue Atlanta Braves hat, an oversized white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white hi-top tennis shoes. The second suspect is described as having a close-cropped beard and mustache and wore a black ball cap with white seams, a long-sleeved gray t-shirt, dark colored jeans with faded spots and black tennis shoes with white soles. Both men carried what appeared to be black colored semi-automatic handguns.
Police have not determined if the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle. The Winder Police are asking for help from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw the two black males carrying large gym bags or backpacks.
