Early voting total passes 3500

Over 3,500 Barrow County citizens have taken advantage of early voting so far.

Barrow County election supervisor Kristi Royston said, as of Tuesday, over ten percent of the county’s registered voters had cast their ballot for the November election.

There are approximately 33,000 registered voters in Barrow County.

Early voting began September 22. The polls are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning October 27, advance voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day until October 31.
