OBIT: Kenneth Holbrook

A native of DeKalb County, he was the son of Wendy and Bill Kenyon of Franklin and Karl and Betty Holbrook of Ranger. He was a field operations manager with Birch Telecom. Mr. Holbrook was preceded in death by grandchildren, Tiffany Holbrook, Adam Everett and Caleb Holbrook.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife, Maria Holbrook, Winder; children, Jason Holbrook and Wendy Dixon, both of Statham, Thomas Shaw and Kyle Holbrook, both of Winder, Willie Holbrook, Oregon, and April Francis, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Justin Wright, Ian Holbrook, Kameron Kirkland, Briana Francis, Madison Dixon, Hannah Holbrook, Sean Francis, Cheyenne Price, Taylor Shaw and Emma Holbrook; brothers, Darrell Holbrook, Ricky Holbrook and Jeff Holbrook, all of Winder, Clint Holbrook, Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Linwood Smith officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, March 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral Home.
