Undercover operation leads to arrests

Sonia Yvone Bentley, 45, and Lanny Ray Bentley, 28, both of 428 Foxdale Rd., were charged with violating Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act.

Sonia Bentley was charged with one count of sale of a scheduled controlled substance. Lanny Bentley was charged with four counts of possession with intent to distribute scheduled controlled substances and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In a separate incident last month, task force members arrested Larry Paul Travis Jr., 33, also of 428 Foxdale Rd., for the sale of a schedule II narcotic.

Travis’ arrest resulted from an undercover operation in the area of Windsor Street. Travis is accused of selling two Roxycotton pills to an undercover agent for thirty-dollars.
