Chamber to host “Women in Business” luncheon
The Barrow County Chamber of Commerce will host a “Women in Business Luncheon” on Monday, October 13.
Gina Mixon of Mixon Growth Partners, LLC, will lead a discussion on dealing with difficult people. The presentation will provide tips on dealing with co-workers, handling challenging individuals, controlling your emotions and managing stress.
Mixon has over 20 years working in human resources and will share her own experiences and strategies.
The luncheon will be held at the Barrow County Professional Development Office, 179 West Athens Street, Winder, at 11:30 a.m. Fee is $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-chamber members.
There will also be a drawing for a free make-over compliments of Salon Bella.
