‘Rolling Thunder’ nets 54 arrests

The enforcement effort, called the “Rolling Thunder Taskforce,” has already begun to produce results.

This past week, the Georgia State Patrol booked 54 people into to the Barrow County Detention Center on various traffic related charges. Thirty-four of those arrested were charged with DUI.

Those arrested and their charges include:

• Curtis Van Burton, 44, 212 Brook Hollow Lane, Winder, DUI.

• David Earl Canteg, 26, 324 Magnolia Avenue, Jefferson, open container and DUI.

• Andres Corredor, 21, 1885 Ham Drive, Chamblee, VGCSA.

• Tito Carlo Mazzeta, 18, 1166 Yrnwyck, Atlanta, VGCSA.

• Yaroslav Menshikov, 20, 2515 NE Expressway, Apt. N14, Atlanta, DUI and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

• Dejarley Sherice Owens, 22, 119 N. Conter Street, Winder, VGCSA- Vicodin, DUI and probation violation.

• Marissa Renee Rucker, 21, 165 Mercer Lane, Athens, possession of marijuana.

• Lars Dustin Schatte, 19, 355 Longview Rd., VGCSA, minor in possession of alcohol and DUI.

• Douglas Bryan Tuttle, 36, 5741 Rolling Meadows Kane, Flowery Branch, driving with suspended license and DUI.

• Luis Arzate Barrueta, 43, 133 West Star Street, Bethlehem, DUI.

• John Tyler Barton, 27, 8365 Royal Troon Dr., Duluth, DUI.

• Ryan Danker Basham, 19, 213 N. Lipona Rd., Tallahassee, Fla., DUI and minor in possession of alcohol.
