Two nights after law enforcement officers from around the region helped Winder police empty a dangerously overcrowded local bar, the Winder City Council revoked the owner’s business license. The action was in response to a request by police chief Dennis Dorsey, who at a Monday council session asked for the immediate revocation of the 2013 city alcohol license for Heart of the City Restaurant & Sports Lounge at Holly Hill Mall.
Sunday’s incident led to a major law enforcement operation at the shopping center on West Athens Street as 30 or so officers from seven agencies helped disperse 532 angry patrons who claimed they had paid cover charges as high as $100 to get in the door.

Some idiot claims to have paid a $100 cover charge to enter a bar...in Winder...at the Holly Hill Mall. Now that's funny, right there...

Way to go WPD, Chief Dorsey and City Council. Thank you for taking swift action to rid the area of this dump. Who, in their right mind, would pay $100 to go to a dive like this at Holly Hill? Apparently 532 ignorant people who have no life.
