Barrow County school officials are hoping to incorporate into their new joint campus with Lanier Technical College a third building that would be partially funded by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners. But after school superintendent Wanda Creel’s presentation of the school system’s proposal Tuesday night, the BOC members did not appear enthusiastic.

If I were the members of the BOC I would steer clear of any and all proposals brought before the group by Dr. Creel. Both her competence and motives are suspect to say the least. Wait her out on anything and everything possible. Hopefully her eventual successor will be able to foster better working relationships with local government officials.
