The twin brothers accused of murdering a former Pensacola journalist will be tried in Florida, not in Barrow County. A judge in Escambia County on Oct. 25 issued warrants charging William Joseph Cormier III with homicide and armed robbery and his brother Christopher Lynn Cormier with being an accessory after the fact to the murder and robbery. The Barrow County charges of murder and concealing the death of another are going to be dropped, and a hearing will be held Nov. 8 to start the extradition process, according to Barrow County District Attorney Brad Smith.
