Freddie R. Bryant, 83, of Winder died Friday, September 5, 2008.
Born in Franklin County to the late David R. and Cynthia Ann Crider Bryant, he lived in Barrow County for most of his life, where he operated Freddie’s Flowers. Mr. Bryant was an Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by siblings, Artis Bryant, Harvey Bryant, Benson Bryant and Eubie Dell Pierce.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 7, in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Brooks and Mrs. Mary Sims officiating. Burial was in barrow Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a son, Mark Mitchell; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
