Winder property owners who have allowed junk to pile up, fences to fall down, or weeds and grass to grow waist high can expect to hear from a city code enforcement officer in the coming weeks and months. At the insistence of the Winder City Council, the police department is stepping up enforcement of city codes to also get rid of nuisance and illegal signs.
