Barrow County Board of Commissioners Chairman Danny Yearwood won’t participate in the selection of the county manager who in January will manage the day-to-day operations of the county government. But at a BOC work session Tuesday night, Yearwood said he would appoint a hiring committee. He invited the district commissioners to serve as voting members and said he would contact four other local residents whose names were brought up by the commissioners as possible non-voting members.
