Winder’s mayor and city council are planning to meet in a called — but closed — meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, to talk about another possible real estate purchase.
It would be the second real estate purchase approved by city officials behind closed doors in as many months. Said city administrator Don Toms: “This one is just a discussion. I don’t think it’s a for-sure thing. We are in the very beginnings of it. They are not going to come out and vote on something. They are exploring what seems like a good deal.”
