Barrow trailer destroyed by fire
A fire destroyed a trailer on Jones Road in Statham on Saturday, Aug. 30, according to the Barrow County Fire and Emergency Services.
When firefighters arrived at the double-wide trailer, it was fully involved in fire.
“With the amount of fire, our crews started an aggressive defensive attack upon arrival,” said Lt. Scott Dakin, public information officer. “They were able to accomplish a fast knock down of the fire, however the trailer was destroyed.
No one was at home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire investigation unit.
