Twenty-eight people were arrested in Barrow County on Sunday, Aug. 12, the result of a multi-agency roundup, authorities said on Monday. The arrest phase of the operation followed a lengthy investigation, which involved narcotics officers making undercover purchases of drugs and controlled substances. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing the search for the 47 people who avoided capture during the day-long roundup, Lt. Matt Guthas reported.

More kidnapping and extortion of Barrow citizens commited by those with badges and guns.
LEO says; Don't do drugs they will ruin your life.
If we catch you with drugs we will do all that we can to ruin your life.
This War on (some) Drugs is a big a failure as every other war that the government has declared on its own citizens.

I would rather live free in a dangerous world, than to live like a slave in a peaceful one.

Maybe some of you nice folks could explain to me when exactly the "war on (some) drugs" will end.
When will victory be achieved, and don't give me that "when people stop doing drugs" line.
Because one mans illicit drug is another mans medicine and people have been altering their consciousness since time began.

When will someone from YOUR government make an announcement?
How close are they to their goal, what exactly is the goal of the "war on (some) drugs"????
Or maybe there is no plan for victory, maybe the idea is a perpetual war on people.
I think the goal is to continue with the kidnappings and extortion...$$$$$$$$..forever.

Next war they declare (for our own good) will be the war on religion.

The "war on drugs" will never end. Neither will murders and child pornography. But that doesn't mean we should stop arresting murderers and child porn assailants.

I just want to say Im thankful for the great sleep I get knowing another "problem" Is behind Bars and away from my family. I like living in Barrow county but if things do not get better before my children get much older then im afraide we will result in home schooling and moving to a country road where the closest convient store is 20+ miles! I Wish ppl who cant stay clean could just all be in one place so that we who are not on drugs can get on and live our lifes without drugs! Keep up the Good Work "B.C" (barrow county).

Here's the problem. Drug use is connected to all other crimes. Go by your local metal recycling business. Sir Shakesalot and Mrs. Twitchy just acquired your a/c unit that you happened to leave outside. When the "self-medicator" crushes his oxy's and roxy's and then has to be taken to Barrow Regional who do you think pays? When children are placed with the state who pays? Where does the Obama entitlement checks for those 20 year olds who refuse to work come from? Government? Dont forget that government has no money. That entitlement (vote-buying) check came at least partially from me. I would say you are welcome, but you're not.

What research? They just look for the Democrat candidate and mark the box. Not that Republicans are any better. But that was not the point. The point is that illegal narcotics are an underlying cause of most thefts and family problems. Unlawful use of prescriptions has trumped chemical drugs. I fully agree that marijuana should be legalized. There are no documented cases of weed OD, just increased pizza deliveries. Laws should only protect me from the Government and us against each other. If I want to treat myself like a playground then thats my business.

I believe that "EVERYONE" has the "RIGHT" to their own opinions, with that said, I'd like to remind everyone that when speaking your minds, you DO NOT need to argue who is in the "RIGHT" & who is in the "WRONG" because "OPINIONS" are neither right nor wrong, they are merely one's point of view or feeling in regards to certain matters that may or may not affect them. However while reading the posts here, it seems that people are more concerned with pointing out why their neighbor's opinion is wrong,instead of "AGREEING" that the "ONE" common ground you all share, is the "FACT" that EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION & MOST OF THE TIME, THERE DIFFERENT FROM YOURS!! Now for my finale, MY OWN OPINION: To wake-up free of worry that some senseless act of violence, or even severe weather could occur & end in tragedy is "WAR" to me. To have a maternal fear that NOT ONLY could my children possibly be introduced to drugs, we also must be aware that young children & teens that potentially have access to weapons might bring them to school. Statically, drugs are a cause for increases in crime rates, but then again "SOME" just possess a criminal mind. Irregardless of what we think is right or wrong in our opinions, the FACT is that "WE" are "NOT" safe from WAR, CRIMINALS, or DRUGS(1 drug is no different from another, when were talking about drugs that are being abused & used for recreational use!!) We the people need to come together as a whole & actually start with ourselves in trying to bring about change, Freedom comes with a price, as does war, but if we can not put differences in opinions aside, then we could not possibly bring change that is for the greater good of us all!!!
