Georgia’s sales tax holiday designed to save parents a few bucks during their back-to-school shopping coming this weekend. The state’s sales tax holiday for clothing, computers and school supplies will take place Friday and Saturday, Aug. 10-11. Shoppers won’t have to pay sales tax on clothing that costs $100 or less per item, computers and computer-related accessories that cost $1,000 or less, and general school supplies that cost $20 or less per item.
