Auburn city council members were asked to consider an ordinance that would force the owners of foreclosed or “vacant” homes to register their properties. Planning and zoning director Larry Lucas proposed the ordinance during the city’s work session last week. The council is expected to consider the ordinance for a vote next month, he said after the meeting.
