Water problems getting critical in Barrow; officials call for more conservation

Dropping water levels are straining the ability of Barrow County and municipal water systems to meet demand. Low flow problems in the Mulberry River, an unintentional release of water from Fort Yargo Lake and a dropping level at Bear Creek Reservoir all impact the amount of water available to Barrow County citizens. As a result, local officials are urging customers to conserve water.

Maybe we should put this vision 2020 project on
hold and dig a bigger watering hole or solve this little global warming thingy.
No need to entice growth if we can't provide a drink of water. Just saying you know!

I agree what is the point of making barrow more beautiful to attract more business if we can not meet the demands to supply water to the population we have..

LOL. No businesses are coming to Barrow. They all trying to get out.
