Three arrested for obstruction
The Statham Police Department made six arrests during the past week. Those arrested and their charges include:
•Hugh David Gingerich, 45, 1714 Grant Lane, Statham, battery FVA and cruelty to animals.
•Derrick Justin Mayweather, 26, 1678 Doc McLocklin Road, Statham, probation violation, theft by receiving stolen property and forgery.
•Timothy Lee Mize, 35, 810 Jackson Trail Road, Winder, loitering and obstruction of an officer.
•Kenneth Bernard Pittman, 42, 389 Hammond Road, Statham, probation violation.
•Jason Michael Turpin, 29, 268 Jefferson Street, Statham, obstruction of an officer.
•Shanna Looney, 20, 9455 Jefferson Street, Athens, public intoxication, obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct.
•Derrick Justin Mayweather, 26, 1678 Doc McLocklin Road, Statham, probation violation, theft by receiving stolen property and forgery.
•Timothy Lee Mize, 35, 810 Jackson Trail Road, Winder, loitering and obstruction of an officer.
