First candidate forum of 2012 elections is June 13

The Barrow County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday night will host the first of two “evenings with the candidates” who are running for state or local offices.

The June 13 event will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Colleen Williams Theater in downtown Winder. It will feature candidates in county races.


The chamber's second candidate forum will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Town Hall building at the Georgia Club in Statham. That forum will feature candidates who hope to represent Barrow County in the Georgia House of Representatives and the Georgia Senate.
