Winder FD to display antique fire truck

An antique fire truck will be on display for the Winder Fire Department’s centennial open house on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held at the fire department’s headquarters museum at Winder Station 1, located at 90 North Broad Street, Winder.

The event will also include adult and children fire safety literature, free blood screenings, information on weather radios and Winder senior citizens may register for a free smoke detector. One hundred years of history will be on display.
