Citizens bombarded Auburn’s city council Thursday with comments about where to run a newly adopted public transit system, an alleged rat problem, and a plea to reconsider the city’s livestock ordinance, specifically dealing with chickens. Four citizens spoke out in total on June 7. The first citizen to speak his mind was Auburn-resident John Nelms, who is a long-time opponent of the recently approved city-funded trolley system.

First of all Auburn has no town to spend money in. This is the most rediculous thing I've ever seen the Auburn city council come up with. This is one reason I moved out of Auburn plus a neighbor from Hell who's first name is Stephanie.

Citizens bombard,??? really?? John Nelms is the town nuisance.Carlton Johson is a grumpy old man. The only ones who had a legit complaint is th chicken couple. And honestly, even that has flown the coop...Now,once OTHER citizens come and stand up, then you will have a BOMBARDMENT FOR THE CITIZENS..Oh wait, grant the couple their chickens...that will go well with Mr.Nelms....

So far the only thing this mayor and city councel has managed to do is squander the citizens tax dollars. The ANT is another prime example. What was the ANT Bus doing in Lawrenceville at 120 and Lawrenceville Suwannee Road? If it will go that far can it take me to work in Duluth and save me the gas money?
