Authorities confirmed Friday morning that there are signs consistent with a four- to six-foot alligator living in a pond in an undeveloped subdivision off Providence Road in Statham.

Why not just trap it, use the meat to feed inmates or the hungary so people can get back to their daily life, if it stay's it will just keep on eating other wildlife.

I think it should be sent to Austria. Let the residents of Budapest fend for themselves. Or, better yet, let the gator eat the illiterate right here in our midst.

I don't think they should rule out that it could be a sea monster. Like Champ at Lake Champlain in New York. Keep the gator, sell some T Shirts.

Why wait to trap it? Does it need to eat someone's child, or pet(s), before it becomes an issue? The pond is close enough to residential areas to deal with it now.
