Statham crossing to be closed Monday

The Hwy. 211 railroad crossing in Statham will be closed Monday as the Georgia DOT works to provide more clearance for vehicles going over the crossing. The area is expected to be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The move comes after Norfolk Southern Railroad replaced new concrete panels at the crossing which raised the grade, making a lower clearance for vehicles.
