An Auburn man was arrested last week for obstruction of an officer during a DUI arrest. Donald Dwayne Griffeth, 37, of 350 Pinecrest Road, Auburn was also charged with numerous other offenses including following too closely, driving with an expired tag, driving with no insurance, habitual violator, speeding, driving without a license, reckless driving and disorderly conduct. Griffeth was one of eight people arrested last week by the Auburn Police Department. Those arrested and their charges include:
•Michael James Campanale Jr., 20, 326 Honeysuckle Trace, Auburn, battery.
•Jonathan Wayne Gomolak, 44, 1519 Willow Gate Trace, Auburn, contempt of court.
•Ronald Anthony Warbington, 17, 1418 Wilks Ive Drive, Dacula, VGCSA sale of marijuana, VGCSA possession of marijuana and VGCSA possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
•Lou Ella Wright, 45, 330 Mount Moriah Road, Auburn, battery FVA.
•Johnathan Edward Booker, 41, 4164 Southview Drive, Macon, battery.
•Rosa Paulina Camarena, 50, 2035 Atlanta Highway, Statham, driving without a license.
•Jacob Oneal Lewis, 17, 354 Maxey Street, Dacula, VGCSA.
INCIDENTS
The Auburn Police Department responded to 12 incidents during the past week. Those incidents were:
•disorderly conduct on Hickory Ridge Trail.
•underage possession of alcohol on Carter Road.
•battery on Main Street.
•prisoner transport from Atlanta Highway.
•financial transaction card fraud on Peyton Lane.
•terroristic threats reported on Appalachee Church Road.
•prisoner transport from High Hope Road.
•prisoner transport from 4th Avenue.
•traffic violation complaint on Scenic Lane.
•traffic violation complaint on Atlanta Highway.
•damage to property on Honeysuckle Terrace.
•civil matter on Appalachee Church Road.
