I-85 lane closure at Barrow/Jackson line

One northbound lane on Interstate Highway 85 northbound is temporarily closed at the Barrow/Jackson counties’ line due to emergency repairs. The lane will be shut down until approximately 9 p.m. Monday, according to a Georgia Department of Transportation release.

The closure is due to a pavement issue on the outside right lane of I-85 northbound on the bridge across the Mulberry River. Motorists are urged to proceed cautiously through this work zone.
