Eberhart, who claims his funeral home on King Street as his domicile, was forced to hire an attorney when his political challenger, James Cooley, pursued not only an appeal to the Barrow County Board of Elections, but also to the Barrow County Superior Court. The council’s vote was 5-0-1, after Eberhart left the council chambers during the vote.
