A last-minute political maneuver by the chairman of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday night nearly thwarted a negotiated settlement with the county’s mayors for funding the replacement of Barrow County’s emergency communications system. But in the end, the BOC approved using interest savings from the refinancing of old bonds to help pay for new emergency radios and equipment for the county and towns.

God, this man Yearwood has to go and go quickly. Could you imagine another 4 years of his antics and underhanded politics. Obviously, the worst chairman this county has ever had...just my opinion....and everyone has one.
