Winder schedules week of FY2013 budget sessions

Winder’s city government has scheduled 14 department-level work sessions on its FY2013 budget this week. The one-hour sessions are open to the public and will be held at the Winder Cultural Arts Center on East Athens Street.
Here is the schedule of meetings:
• Tuesday, April 24: Winder Community Center budget 8:30 a.m.; Information Technology budget 9:30 a.m.; and General Administration/Human Resources/City Council at 1 p.m.

• Wednesday, April 25: Gas Department 9 a.m.; Planning and Zoning 10:30 a.m.; Public Works 1 p.m.; Television Station 2:30 p.m.; and Water Department 4 p.m.

• Thursday, April 26: Fire Department 9 a.m. and Police Department 10:30 a.m.

• Friday, April 27: Cultural Arts Center 9 a.m.; Utility Billing Department 10:30 a.m.; Fleet Maintenance 1:30 p.m.; and Finance/DDA/Community Events 3 p.m.
