Emergency planners conduct training drill

“We want citizens to know they may see action in the area,” Penny Clack, Emergency Management Coordinator with Barrow County Emergency Service, said in a press release. “However, it should not affect any traffic flow in the county.”

The training drill includes several public safety organizations and some local business.

“We want to thank those that are participating for stepping up to help better prepare Barrow County in the event of disaster,” said Clack. “It will be very valuable training for all of us involved.”
