Barrow GOP to host BBQ on August 23

U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss will speak at 5:30 PM, followed by U.S. Rep. John Linder. Public service commission candidates Lauren "Bubba" McDonald, Jr. and Doug Everett have also been invited.

John McCain yard signs, bumper stickers, and other materials will be available during the event.

The Lions Club is located at 354 E. Broad St. in Winder. The barbecue will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under six years of age are admitted free of charge.

Tickets are available at HomeLand Realty, 147 W. Athens St., in Winder during normal business hours.
