One Barrow County school has been named a "Focus School" by the Georgia Department of Education.
According to a recent state DOE release, Winder-Barrow High School, a Title I school, is among 156 schools statewide that have been identified under the state department’s new accountability system that categorizes Title I schools into three groups. These categories are: Priority, Focus, and Reward.Title I schools are determined based on the percentage of free and reduced lunch eligibility for its student population, Barrow County officials say.
