Auburn water users could see huge jump in rates

Water users on the City of Auburn system could see a huge jump in their rates next year if the city decides to adopt a proposed rate hike based on a recent study. Water rates for the average 4,500 gallons per month user could jump anywhere from 24 percent to 64 percent, depending on whether or not a users lives inside the city limits or outside and the age of the consumer.
