A man that tried to interview for a job instead left his potential employer feeling threatened, according to an incident report from the Braselton Police Department.
A woman conducting interviews at Country Inn and Suites on Ga. Hwy. 124 for a company said she had scheduled an interview at the hotel with a Sandy Springs man. However, the man wasn’t interviewed because of “his attitude that he had with the manager of the company.”
The man was asked to leave the hotel, but remained in a hallway for up to two minutes. When he was told that the police would be called to the hotel, the man waited in the parking lot for an unknown amount of time.
The 26-year-old woman conducting an interview later received a phone call from an unknown number. When she called the number back, the man answered and made threatening statements, including, “Watch your back,” “You messed with the wrong one,” and “You dead (expletive).”
The woman put the call on a speakerphone and another woman heard the man’s statements, according to an incident report.
The first woman didn’t know if she wanted to press charges against the man, according to Braselton police.
