Public hearing on Auburn’s agenda Feb. 2

The owner of Old Peachtree Montessori School, Gus Garcia, told the council Jan. 19 that he has plans to build a middle school on the property.

The public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. and the council will then vote on the recommendation.

OTHER ACTION

The council is also set to vote on the following items Thursday:

• a recommendation to approve KSP Enterprises with a $33,668.50 contract for drainage improvement construction costs in the Governors Ridge subdivision.

• a recommendation to amend sign permit fees from $10 per square feet to $1 per square feet while retaining one free six square foot sign provision
