Wing sauce dispute leads to fight
Saturday, January 21. 2012
A dispute about a wing sauce at a pizza restaurant in South Hall led to an employee being hit in the face by a customer, who was later arrested by Braselton police.
The Braselton Police Department responded to a Pizza Hut on Spout Springs Road, where an officer said he found an employee standing in the parking lot with a cloth on his face. The employee, who refused medical treatment, said a customer had hit him twice in the face. Other employees of the store were also standing on a sidewalk.
The employee said a customer — later identified as Ruben R. Landeros, 33, of Buford — complained that his wings didn’t have enough sauce on them, according to an incident report. The employee said Landeros had a “bad attitude” and called him several offensive names, while complaining about service at the restaurant.
While trying to escort Landeros out of the restaurant, he hit the employee twice in the face, according to an incident report. The employee said he took a defensive posture, but didn’t hit Landeros.
Another person that was in Landeros’ vehicle started to exit the vehicle, but another store employee then approached the area. Landeros and the other man left in the vehicle.
An employee at Pizza Hut identified Landeros as the suspect and provided police with an address. The employee also got the vehicle’s license plate number, which was registered in Landeros’ name.
Braselton police asked for a Hall County deputy to respond to Landeros’ residence, since it was just outside of the town limits. While waiting for the deputy, Landeros approached the Braselton officers and told them he knew why they were there.
Landeros tried to justify his actions based on poor customer service at Pizza Hut, according to police. He said there was naming calling and a fight. He also claimed that the store employee hit him twice, but an officer said he didn’t see any marks on Landeros.
Braselton police told a Hall County deputy about their probable cause for arresting Landeros. The deputy arrested Landeros and handed him over to Braselton police, who took him to the Hall County Detention Center.

The woman had given her name and contact information to the store when its employees were ready to buy more items.

Don't get me wrong...the customer was wrong entirely. You don't go off on some employee at a pizza joint. Just object with your pocket book. Lodge a complaint and if it is not corrected...never go back.
Not an acual resturant like in Winder.
Plus it is in the area formally known as "Duncan City", a place where you didnt have alot of choices until recently. This Hut is brand new, maybe a month or two open. Pizza Hut near Hamliton Mill wouldn't deliver to that area before so that is why they built this one we guess...
It is in the Publix shopping center (across from Kroger) on Spout Springs Road Where Thompson Mill & Friendship all run together (until the DOT messed with the alignment, probably at Braselton's request, who has "Spot Annexed" the new stuff around the rest of the area that was there before)
Sounds like Idiot Employees and Customer Combination...
Notice How even though in Braselton, and BPD was supposedly handling the call, that HALL COUNTY Rushed in and Took over... They are not happy about Braselton? Or what?
