A Gwinnett County man was killed after a train collided with a Ford F-150 at an intersection near Beluah Street in downtown Winder Tuesday afternoon. The victim was 41-year-old Steven Donyalle Reid of Snellville.
A Winder police report indicates the impact was on the driver’s side door, but authorities say they aren’t sure which way the train was headed or where the truck was initially positioned when it was struck.
Others it appears the victim died on impact. Emergency personnel had to extricate the body from the vehicle.

The vehicle hit by the train is a Bronze colored Ford F-150 4-door with heavy damage to the driver's side. Please pray for the family of this crash victim. Especially during this holiday season.

I have always said that they need a crossing gate there. I am always extra careful crossing that track especially during the summer and when the sun is facing a certain direction, because you can't really see the flashing lights. Sad to hear news like this.
