A Barrow County grand jury on Oct. 24 indicted former fire lieutenant Donald Todd Orr for allegedly telling his estranged wife in a July 30 phone call that he wished he had blown off her head last Christmas.
A total of 13 prosecution witnesses testified against Orr. The witness list included his wife Theresa Orr and all three of their daughters.
The indictment accuses Todd Orr of making a terroristic threat against his wife by threatening to "commit a crime of murder" with the purpose of terrorizing her.
A grand jury in January indicted Orr in connection with a Christmas Day 2010 accidental shooting in the family's Winder home, but he was allowed to plead to misdemeanor counts of reckless conduct and received 24 months probation.
The probation was revoked following the alleged phone threat, and he is incarcerated in the Barrow County Detention Center.
Since his original convictions were for misdemeanors, Barrow County Superior Court Judge Currie Mingledorff ordered him to serve his nearly two years of remaining probation in the county jail.
However, if Orr is convicted of the new felony, he could face transfer to a state prison.
An indictment does not mean that a person has been convicted of a crime.

Apparently you don't have a clue.... It doesn't matter who anyone is married to, she doesn't deserve being made the villian here. Try putting yourself in her place before making any more STUPID remarks!!!!! And as for him having access to facebook, I doubt it, it is probally his sister or brother on his page. Good luck Teresa, I hope you will be able to put this behind you and have a great life..

NO one is making her the victim..Im just saying he has been given a much harsher sentence than ANYONE else who would have had a domestic dispute with their spouse over the phone..read the barrow journal anyday, see the crimes that are committed by "career criminals" and they walk outta jail with a fine and probation..Im sure Todd Orr will a have a much more at least peaceful life now that he has distanced himself from his "warden"..Your right, she should put this behind her,let him live his life, and quit harassing him and his family! You should really know the FACTS before you make such comments, but I guess ignorance is bliss!

You have no idea what you are talking about. Mr Orr is in JAIL FOR 2 YEARS on a probation Voilation, maybe you need to go back and reread those articles, The Judge decided after all the facts were put out on the table that JAIL, would be the best place for him. Maybe you need to go back and read it before you start saying such STUPID REMARKS. WHO REALLY CARES WHY HE IS THERE, THE FACT IS HE IS FOR A WHILE. Maybe this family can have some peace and move on with their lives.

Actually John...Todd isn't in jail for the phone calls...He is in jail for the remainder of his probation because it is where he should be. He violated his probation like a "big boy" so now he is finally facing the consequences. Wow, before you talk maybe you should get the facts..its just a thought.

A fine Christian man would not threaten to blow someone's head off! No matter how much money he puts in the offering plate!!

If you read the article correctly, he DID NOT threaten to blow anyones head off....He said"instead of trying to kill myself,I SHOULD HAVE" , thats not a threat..thats talking in past tense..the remark was totally taken out of context as usual...The fact is..you can deal meth, steal, beat up a spouse in this county and get a lesser sentence than Mr Orr received..and no one can argue with that..its public record..
