A Barrow County school bus was struck Friday on afternoon after two passenger vehicles collided with each other at the intersection of Stephens Street and King Street in Winder.
According to Assistant school superintendent Jake Grant, during the afternoon route time, one of the vehicles involved in a separate accident bounced into and struck the front of a stationary school bus at the stop sign where it had stopped on Stephens Street.
There were two students remaining on the bus at the time of the incident.

The story was posted Monday; the accident happened Friday. The school was closed Saturday and Sunday and nobody was available to talk to. You know, we don't just report rumors without checking out the facts first.

Well I'm a bus driver and I didn't know anything about a bus wreck until Monday at our Safety meeting. So, why are you so upset?

Why should they tell you? What difference does it make if another driver knows?

Yes, I am tired of all the Creel comments. Read my column that will be on newsstands tonight. But that had nothing to do with the bus story.
