Maybe because they heard the same thing others have heard. Creel has a friend at Bluebird. Don't that make things interesting. I also heard that Bluebird is from her neck of the woods the company maybe Peach county.... Hummmm Where there is smoke there usually is fire....Maybe Bramlett nor Bailey don't want to be Burned!

You must be right. She lived within' 50 miles of the place as a child. That must be why the state government requires the endorsement document is read to every school board in the state.

lol, that is funny sheesh. I will say this, it does make more sense to purchase the Bluebird buses. Not only will the county have more of the same buses, but with interchangable parts, a 'boneyard" of Bluebirds and keeping the majority of parts on hand and mechanics being more familiar with them, it makes sense and would save the county in the long run.

FYI… The bus shop has more international buses than Bluebird. The only Bluebird they have are the ones Creel bought last year plus a few more most of the others are international. I would venture to say that 75% of the fleet are international and I heard the international have a better track record on not needing to be repaired. Just because they tell you to read something does not always make it the best thing to do. But you are right they better stock up on those Bluebird parts for repair they are going to need them!

now the Journal had quoted someone saying the international or freightliner shared the same engine as the bluebird, so dont know why one would be more reliable, especially with a 5yr warranty they said came with purchase.
