Barrow house fire under investigation

“Firefighters started doing an aggressive interior attack,” said Dakin. “However, due to the amount of fire already in the attic and first floor of the house the crews were forced to back out and do an exterior attack.”

Engines 4, 5 and 6, Ladder 7, Med 5 and 6 and Battalion 1 responded to the fire.

Although firefighters were able to save vehicles parked in the garage of the home, the family’s home was completely destroyed. The American Red Cross responded to assist the family. Two adults and three children were displaced.
