A male and female couple were arrested Thursday night after Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies found them cooking up methamphetamine at a Hog Mountain Road residence.
Deputies arrived at 1840 Hog Mountain Road just before 9 p.m. in Statham, in reference to a suspected clandestine methamphetamine lab.
There they found Joe Shealy Sr., 46, of Monroe and Connie Lee Krachinski, 47, of Pinson, Ala., and arrested them on manufacturing charges. Both suspects were taken into custody and it was later determined that Shealy also had a valid warrant out of Hall County for his arrest.
Shealy is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and was also placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant in Hall County. Krachinski was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Both suspects are being held at the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted.
According to an Aug. 12 press release sent out by Sgt. Ryan Sears, deputies were responding to a report of a suspected clandestine methamphetamine lab.
It was determined that Shealy and Krachinski were in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine in a repair shop located on the property.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was notified and arrived on scene, and advised the deputies to contact a hazardous materials decontamination crew to come clean up and eventually turn over to the property owner.
Several components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine included two containers of liquid and a piece of plastic tubing. They were located and taken into evidence.
Parts for a gas generator used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine were also found.
Regarding the bust, Sheriff Jud Smith said: “The process of manufacturing methamphetamine poses a danger to not only the people involved, but to anyone around the location of the clandestine lab. Individuals who come to Barrow County and are involved in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine will be located, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Sheriff Smith continued.

can you say "coffee, tea, or me?" you would be something like a hostess for entertaining CEO's who want to move their business into Barrow County. I think if your gonna do it anyway then you might as well get paid and earn a fat county pension.
Kudos to you if that makes you feel like a big man!
We are posting on a blog about an arrest in the newspaper, and meanwhile you resort to personal attacks....Shame on you! I could say the same thing about your mama, but I am too much of a lady to do so.
Oh By the Way, the restroom floor needs mopping, and while you're at it don't forget to clean up around the indoor playground. Super Size those fries boy!

I think its pretty clear who the attacker is here, and I withdraw my offer of a job to you, I dont think you are qualified to do what I had in mind, apparently your mind and body both dwell in the gutter.
Somewhere an attic is missing its crazy granny. It's weird how she thinks that attacking Barrow natives would endear herself to voters. Haven't heard anything that dumb since Sinn-Clark wrote for the now-defunct Barrow Eagle and then tried to get elected chair of the county commission.
