Ray Saxon Hall, 43, has been charged with one count possession of methamphetamine, three counts possession of a controlled substance, two counts possession of a sawed off shotgun, one count altered or removed serial number on a firearm, possession of marijuana and theft by receiving stolen property.
The Barrow County Crime Task Force with the assistance of the Barrow County SWAT Team served the warrant at approximately 2 a.m. on Aug. 4 at 1187 Hwy. 124 in Hoschton, after investigators learned illegal drugs were being sold out of the residence.
Once the residence was clear, the Barrow County Crime Task Force searched it for illegal narcotics. Methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications and other drug related items were located in the master bedroom. Twelve different firearms were found in various places around the residence, including inside of the washing machine and fireplace.
Two of the firearms were sawed off shotguns and the serial number on one of the pistols, a Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver, had been altered or removed. The weapon was found on Hall’s person and a check through central communications located the pistol as stolen from Winder.
The methamphetamine tested positive on scene.
All four suspects were taken to Barrow County Detention Center.
And to quote Anon "Let me put this so you can understand it - u r dum." to think that no one was hurt in this act of stupidity. At the very least, four people's lives and futures have been hurt by drugs and gun posession.
Prohibition...did not work for alcohol...won't work for drugs
